My very favorite part of July...

*FIREWORKS*

7.4.09 Jake and I went to the Layton fireworks this year with

Mom, Riley, Mary, Charlotte, and the Pickups.

This was the first time I've tried taking pictures of fireworks.

I had a lot of fun. Sorry family for being the annoying photographer haha

I think I did a pretty good job of staying out of the way though.

Awesome fireworks, family, and fun!

7.10.09

{O}nce upon a time there was a little girl who wanted to donate her hair to locks of love.
She tried over and over again to grow her hair long enough to
donate 10 inches, but just couldn't do it.
She would get so excited when her hair grew past her shoulders, but once
her hair got that long it did not like to cooperate.
She quickly got sick of her growing hair and would chop it off.
This cycle went on for years and years.
Finally, the little girl was all grown up and ready to get married.
She grew her hair out long so that she could curl it all
pretty and do it up for her wedding day.
Since her hair was already past the point of when
she usually cut it off, the now grown up girl
decided she was finally going to do it.
After 8 long months, her hair was finally long enough to
donate 10 inches without looking like a boy.
So, the girl went to her favorite hair place and her
favorite hair girl braided her hair and cut off 10 long inches.
The girl was so happy she finally got to donate her hair
but even more happy to have short ish hair again.
